General Haig reports: Last nightj we captured one thousand yards of tranches south-east of Thiepval. We attacked in the morning on a sixmile front from Bouleaux Wood, | northward of the Albert-Bapaume ( road. We advanced in some places two or three, thousand yards, using aj new type of heavy armored car. Tlie ( captures south-east of Thiepval include a strongly defended locality known as "Wunder Werk." Utility was made during this attack of much air fighting.
