STRATFORD LICENSING COMMITTEE.
• The quarterly meeting of the Stratford Licensing Committee was held this afternoon, when there were present: Mr W. It. Haselden, S.AI. (chairman), and Messrs C. D. Sole, W.. Hatha way, A. Meredith, J. B. Richards, and W. Morison. F. J. Mills (Mr Spence) applied for a renewal of license in respect to the Tariki Hotel. The renewal of tho license was postponed from the June meeting to allow of improvements being carried out. Tho police reported that the improvements had been completed, and the license was renewed.
Tin- transfer of the Toko Hotel, from J. Hawkins to W. Parkinson was) granted, on the. application of Mr Q.\ ■, H. Ryan, Hawers.
