FOLEY’S PICTURES. “SHOULD A WIFE FORGIVE"” Broadway beauty, siren, vampire, and temptress, arc the roles portrayed bv Miss’Lillian Lorraine, in the feature him, “Should a M ifo borgivef which was screened at His Majesty’s Theatre last night to a good amli.(•e. rite story concerns Jack Holmes,-a young business man, who has been made sucessfnl through his wife’s money, falls into the toils el a handsome dancer in a cabaret, and becomes; a victim of her habit, that of drinking perfume in her tea. A chum of 1 1 i s has bean supporting the dancer, and she cleverly keeps the two men apart, having fallen in love with the business man, who makes her star ot a coiupam lie start. His wile sees Hie play on its iivst night, sees her husband there, and writes a note to Hie girl. The dancer reads the note while with her husband, and dares him to commits sdicide with her. fR!e refuses. His rival comes in, the men have a duel in the dark, the girl is wounded, and the men escape. The girl is taken to a hospital, and becomes a sister of charity, while the husband is told by his wife that he is too late in his plea for forgiveness. r lhe supporting programme was up to the usual standard. The orchestral items again were much enjoyed.
