MODERN TAILORS, LIMITED. „ Mr W. 11. Besley, Cash Tailoring Co., Stratford, has amalgamated with Mr George Pearce, of Xew Plymouth, and tho tw o businesses will now be run under the style of "Modern Tailors Ltd." Mr Besley has long, been recognised as one of the cleverest of New Zealand's cutters, of both suits and costumes. He will continue to cut all the garments, spending part of his time at both places. Mr W. Futcher will be in charge at Stratford when Mr Besley is at New Plymouth. The secret of suits and costumes i that fit is in the balance. There are not more than a dozen tailors in New Zealand who can get just that style into a coat that separates it from all ordinary tailor-made goods. Mr Besley is one of the dozen. Mr Pearee will be travelling through the whole of Taranaki. If you desire him to make an early visit, send a postcard to cither Stratford or New Plymouth. There is a peculiar advantage in Mi - Pearce's personal attention. He lias for many years past run the largest tailoring establishment in Xew Plymouth, and this practical experience in cutting and making is invaluable when taking your measurements. Tho business management of the new firm, will be directed by Mr W. Nash, who has for many years been connected with one of the largest woollen warehouses in New Zealand. This will ensure the buying and quality being right. Only the highest grade cloths that are imported into, or manufactured in, Xew Zealand, will be used. If good suits are to be made, good cloth must be used. The Company have to a great extent counter-' acted the enormous increase in the price of material by buying far ahead in large quantities. Buying in largo quantities cheapens cost—the benefit is in the suit. The selling prices are entirely based on cost. They range from £5 to £0 for suits, and from £5 .12s Gd to :7 7 K for costumes. x
