FOLEY'S PICTURES. A GOOD PROGRAMME. There was a splendid house at this popular place of amusement last night to witness the opening programme of the week. One of the most realistic war films yet screened locally was that entitled, “With the Canadian Troops in Action.” Princess Particia’s Light Infantry on parade, headed hy the flag which was presented by Princess Particia, first introduced this gallant army. They were next shown entering the communication trenches, and carrying out other stages of warfare. Supplementary pictures shown were, “Legend of the Poisoned Pool” (an Indian drama), “Barrier , of Prejudice,” “Gertie’s Joy Hide,” “War Gazette,” and “Mabel’s Adventures’ featuring Miss Mabel Nonuaud. Tomoirow night Mary Picktord will again appear at His Majesty’s Theatre in her most recent success entitled, “Mistress Nell.” ' THE NORWOODS.
