THE ZEPPELIN TOLL. ALLIES ACCOUNT FOR 35. Press Association —Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. , London, August 23. In the House of Commons, Mr J. L. Baird, representing the Air Board, mentioned that seven Zeppcdins are officially known to have been destroyed and five others are believed to have been disabled irremediably. Th Allies altogether havo accounted for thirty-five Zeppelins. He added, that since the beginning of the war, thirtyfour air raids had boon made m £ng land, ten resulting in casualties. Thr total killed was 331 civilians and fifty military. Mr Mond moved the adjournment of the debate in order that the House may givo adequate attention to th rise in the cost of living. Mr Bonar Law resisted, amid protests, whereupon the Government ao cepted tho motion, and agreed to dis cuss the question to-day.
