GERMANS REPULSED BY PORTUGUESE.
Press Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 12.30 p.m.) Lorenza Marques, August 20. Reports state that the Germans attacked a Portuguese food convoy on the river Rovuma, when the Germans were driven hack to their own territory with heavy loss. The Portuguese suffered five casualties.
