A Berlin official message states: Our submarines in the English Channel sank seven English and three French sailers, and three English and two French steamers, between August 2ml and 10th. One of our submarines also torpedoed the destroyer Lassoo in the Channel.
j The Press Bureau states that the Ijassoo sank a few miles off the Dutch coast, not in the Channel; as the Gorman Admiralty pretends. REMEMBER THE BARALONCI Amsterdam, August 11. A German White Book, dealing 'with the Bara long ease, states that Zeppelin, raids arc reprisals therefore every time a Zeppelin appears the English must remember the Caralong. Bombs fell close to the ship, |but little damage was done. British idestroyers chased the airship, firing heavily. I The Germans fired at the Swedish ' ship Pcpita, with a cargo of sleepers for Sunderland. j The Danish steamer Ivar was sub- ! manned. The crews were rescued. The San Sebastion, a Spanish vessel, was submarined in tho Mediterranean.
