War relief figures are interesting to note. Tasmania has contributed £141,609. The total for all the patriotic funds in South Australia since the war started is approximately £510,000. According to the last statement issued by the Government Statistician, New South Wales has contributed £2,051.05!, and \ ictoria £ 1,174,560. The following resolution was enthusiastically carried at an assembly of Maoris at llotorua on the second anniversary of the war: “Inasmuch as we are entering the third year of the greatest war of the world, the Arawa people again place on record their unalterable decision to assist, as in the past, in every direction our noble King and the Government of this country, desire in this tremendouk conflict of the world of light against the world of darkness and murder led by Germany, for ever, and eier, and ever.” The resolution has been forwarded to the Prime Minister.

A Press Association telegram to-day from Pei Id ing stales : Pat lambs from the Peilding Show, which were sent home after the February show, fetched 10.U1 per lb in London.
