Jeannot and Mallord ian five furlongs in 1.0 Hattie Fve covered half a mile n 52. l-mon Jacs, Nita, Queen’s Post, and fagot in that order ran a mile in 1 ;S. Kaminoho 'did six furlongs in 1 21. Melchmuii laud- Aurore was siightly better than Marconi. Harbour Light beat Styi ax over ten furlongs in 22d 2-5. Cold Soidt boat Gco/ge over l-vc, the last belt being done in <2. Art did a mile in 1.5) 2-5. Tweli'l h X.'ght mid Speed--1 ometcr beat Rorke’s Drift over six
1 furlongs. 1 A largo number of jumpers were 'schooled. Waimai gave a good disjplay once round the fences with Ka[wangi, who ran off at the double. I Merry Had, .New York, and Hi emeu j vent once round the fences, all jumpling well. Selwood went with them, (but was not so good, and fell at the last fence. Prcious Meta 1 did once round the fences safely. Free jumped faster than Multieipal over two hurdlles. Black Sea gave a good exhibition lof fencing with Recharge, who fell at 'the hurdle beside the post and rail. Lady Bibbero gave a good display of fencing with Bravest, who showed ■more pace, but her jumping was only fair, running off at the double. Wellwood, Critic, Tradition, and Ikowai did a round of the fences, jumping veil. Gladful jumped veil in a iv ■nd of the hurdles, and Trireme, who was with him, was fair. St. Kim and Ten(anions were much better than San Tosta round the hurdles. Golden March and Sir Solo accomplished a similar task, Golden March going bettef at the finish,
