CHEESE VALUES. \ - The Hawera Star understands from Mr S. '/uruer that Messrs J. and J. Lonsdale’s Queensland agent (Mr Mosey, of Brisbane), has reported that the Cheese Association there has sold through the Federal Government to the Indian 900,00011) of cheese at IOJ per lb, delivery to he at the rate of 100,0001 b per month for the next nine months. The agent does not say whether this price is f.o.h. or c.i.f., but Mr Turner
has cabled for this information, and upon receipt of it will advise us further. If the, quotation is 0.i.f., says Mr Turner, it would mean Jd less, but
he is almost sure that the price will be f.o.h. The quotation refers to na\ifil ,o|port cheese, and it is generally conceded that Queensland cheese is -ndfcjNurth withing Jcl per lb of New Zealand cheese.
