RAIDS ON ENGLAND.
SEVERAL ZEPPELINS ENCAGED. MANY BOMBS DROPPED.
Press Association —Copyright, Australian and 5.7.. Cable Association. London, August 3. A number of Zeppelins were raiding the Eastern Counties at midnight. Six or seven Zeppelins participated in the raid. Many bombs were dropped, hut no military damage is reported.
At least ouo airship was hit. It was seen travelling seaward, in a badly damaged condition.

EIGHTY BOMBS DO LITTLE DAMAGE.

Eye-witnesses on the coast state c.iafi after the anti-aircraft guns' bombardment, ono of the Zeppelins showed evident signs of being damaged, and travelled seawards wobbling from side to side.
Copenhagen reports that fifteen Zeppelins are now operating in the Baltic.
Fishermen found a bottle containing the last message of the commander and crew of the Ll 9 Commander Lowe reports that with fifteen men on the platform and no gondola, the Ll 9 was going very slowly, and he was unable to save the airship. While returning from England in a fog, they were bombardod by Dutch sentinels. At the same moment, the motors failed. The bottle also contained fifteen letters by the crew to their wives and children.
