The late .Mr A. G. Fookes. whoso death was recorded yesterday, is survived by a widow and a family of six sons and live daughters. The sons are .Messrs H. E. Fookes (New Plymouth >. Though for a long time in indifferent health ho was able to be about, took a short walk on Sunday afternoon, and retired to bed apparently as well as usual. During the night he had a seizure, and became? unconscious, remaining in this condition until he passed peacefully awaV on Wednesday morning. Had he lived. S\v Fookes would have celebrated his golden wedding next May.
