The Venereal Diseases Bill which is to he introduced necessitates a doctor’s report in every case, and 'every person suffering must medical treatment.
Replying to a deputation asking for increased old-age pensions, Mr Higgs stated that the 'Commonwealth was paying £2,800,000 annually in pensions, and probably next year would be added two millions in war pensions. They had to pay at least five millions annually in interest on the war loans.
The Wheat Board, has fixed a uniform price of wheat for export at 4s 9d.

Mr Hughes announced that he did not accept any invitations to return to England as a member of the War Council.
