BRACKENFIELD HUNT.
Christchurch, July 27. At the Brackenfield Hunt Club meeting the. principal Steeplechase resulted.: Mawson 10.0 1, W&dparapara 10.8 2, Kingsway 11.12 3. Kingsway, 12.0, won the Hack Steeplechase, and Trireme 9.7 the Hack Hurdles. Yes won the two open flat races. A SOUTHLAND INQUIRY. Bunedin, July 27. A meeting of the Bunedin District Committee to-day received from the Southland Racing Club the result of an inquiry into alleged "dummyism" in training. The committee, deckled that P. Ryder, junr., be not granted a gentlemen rider's license in future; that C. A. Campbell lie disqualified for three years for corrupt practices; that B. H. Towson (trainer) bo cautioned for employing Campbell without making inquiries from his previous employer; and that W. Wallis he suspended for twelve months for acting as a "dummy" trainer.
