FOLEY'S PICTURES. THE CRUCsQLE. Almost ineffably charming and pi - quanl is the acting of Miss 3Margueri.o Clark, who plays fclie loading role \ n the undeniably brilliant dramatic "feature." photo-play "The Crucible," by the Famous Players' Company, which was screened with the now series at the H.M. Theatre last evening, [ndividnality is clearly stamped on Miss Clark's' performance, and being favored with a degree of charm in personality it is not difficult to realise why she ranks as one of the world's leading film players. "The Crucible" is a forceful study of human frailty with its redeeming qualities. The enactment is accomplished with most appropriate open-air settings, wherever they . are required, and realism has been attained throughout. The films in support are "War Gazette," "Their Night Out," and nil exceptionally clover topical cartoon picture. The orchestral items wore much enjoyed.
