AUDIT OF THE WAR FUNDS.
Controller and Auditor-Genera has appointed Mr Alfred Coleman ' under the provisions of “The War Funds Act, 1915,” to be the auditor ■ of the various Patriotic Funds which have been created -in the Stratford area. The Funds which .will be subject* to examination and report by Mr Coleman are as, follows:—Cardiff Sick and Wounded Fund, £630 10s i Qd; Eltham Patriotic Wounded Sol- ; ** diers’ Fund, £4471 15s 10d; Eltham \ Belgian 'Sewing Guild, £195 10s sd; ' Inglewood Patriotic ; Committee, £2247 19s '3d; Kaimata Returned | Wounded and Disabled Soldiers’ Fund £206 7a Od; Kaponga Wounded » Soldiers’ Fun(l, no figures; Kphuratahi Overseas Club, £343 * 10s 5d ; Mangatoki Patriotic Fund, £302 16s ? 6d; Poor of Great Rritain, Ireland . and Belgium Fund, .Stratford, £1823 3s 9J; Stratford Patriotic Committee, £6233 9s 8d; Inglewood Ladies’ Patriotic League, no figures; Toko .
