Mr Pearce has announced thati the cutters and machinists at. the Federal Clothing Factory, have,adopted "slowdown" tactics, recommended by the Industrial Workers of the World. This had resulted in a reduction of output and the Minister thereupon discharged fifty employees. On a guarantee that the output would not be reduced they were-later reinstated.
