A communique states: The Austrians between Adige and Brenta are 'strenously contesting our advance and attempted counter-attacks at various points. We repulsed night attacks against Mount Zugno trenches After several attempts our Alpinist yesterday reached the summit of Mount Corno, north-west of Pasubio. Our infantry, ( despite the difficutlies of the ground and the stern resistance of the enemy, captured the crest of Mount Seluggio and advanced towards Rio Freddo and Astico. The Auslrians, after an intense artillery bombardment, attacked Primelunetta and positions in the Compelle Valley, but were driven off.
