Diinedin, Juno 25. .Tamos Patrick Hanniup;, employed on tlio steamer Earn slaw, was drowned at the Prankfcon wharf (Lake Wnkatipu) at 5.30 a..in on Saturday. He fell into the water while the steamer was discharging at the wharf, and the body was recovered about fifteen minutes later. Deceased leaves a widow and three young children.
