NEWTON KING REPORTS. On Thursday, 15th inst., at Ngaere, for Mr R. Alclv. Morison’s clearing sale there was a large attendance ot buyers who made good competition lor Hie cows, tliese selling up to £ll lea, the herd averaging £lO is. At Midhirst on Friday, 6th inst., lor the clearing sale in the estate ol the late F. Uhlcmborg, buyers were again present in good numbers. Best cows sold up to £l4 IDs, the herd averaging £lO 16s. Weauor heifers made £2 lis, farm horses £ls 10s to £2(J 10s.

On the same day at Waiwakaiho for my fortnightly sale there was a full yarding with spirited competition for everything offered, ail classes selling very freely, there being an unsatisfied demand at the conclusion of the sale. On the same day at Oakiira for Mr W. Bank’s clearing sale there was a good attendance. The attendance was good and competition was keen for all cows showing quality. The herd looked well, and apparently showed a good deal of judgment in their selection.
