RACING AT NAPIER PARK. Per Press Association. Greenmeadows, June 23. For the Napier Park races to-day the weather is fine, and the course spongy. The attendance is good. Results : Moteo Hack Hurdles, of 150 sovs, la miles.—Czaronus (9.8) 1, Golden March (,9.2) 2, Jem (9.12) 8. Won by four lengths. Bon Reve fell. Scratched: .Birkful, Waimahaki, Silver Rose. Time, 3.32.
Petane Steeples, of 150sovs., 2 miles —Bransfield (10.0) 1, Xita (10.2) 2, The Chef (9.11) 3. Won by two lengths, four lengths between second and thiid. Taihape and Otupai fell. Scratched. Immensity and Master Malachi. Time 4.34 2-5.
Stewards’ Stakes, of 250sovs, one mile.—Goldenlyte (9.-1) 1, Kooya (11.4) 2, Sea Lord (9.2) 3. Won by half a length. Scratched: Anxious. Time, 1.51.
Napier Steeplechase, of oOOsovs, about three miles.—Braeburn 'll.?-) 1, Merrie Lad (10.0) 2, Captain Mackay (10.0) 3. Glenmore was first out. Braeburn took the lead in the second circuit and held it till he made a had jump half a-mile from home. He came again in the straight and won by twelve lengths, one length between second hand third.
