AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE

THE CARPET OF BAGDAD

The chief attraction at His Majesty's Theatre to-night, is a Selig star film in five acts, entitled "The Carpet of Bagdad." In Auckland, where this picture was screened recently, the palatial "Lyric".Theatre was crowded nightly with Auckland picture-goers to see this Eastern photo play. The film which is produced in and around Bagdad and Cairo with its glamour of Eastern splendour, camel caravans, desert storms, and Oriental intrigue cannot fail to interest and entertain. The supporting films are "War Gazette," "The Honeymoon Bath." and a charming picture entitled "Birdl.md Studies." A festival of the latest melodies will be played by His Majesey's orchestral band, including Sousa's latest march "The Hippodrome."
