FIGHTING CONTINUES GENERAL The High Commissioner reports: — London, June 9 (3.65 p.ni.) On the left of, the Meuse, the French repulsed two small German attacks on positions south-west of Hill 304. On the right bank, the Germans continued their violent attacks on a front of about two kilometres east and west of the farm at Thiaumont. Between the farm and Cailette Wood, the enemy penetrated in one of our trenches.

All enemy attempts directed on the west were repulsed with enemy losses. In the region of St. Mihiel, an enemy detachment which attempted to take our line east of Bisleo was dispersed by a fusilade.
