“MADE IN GERMANY” COIN.

The Daily Telegraph’s Paris correspondent says silver is disappearing in Austria, Bulgaria, and Turkey, and iron, steel, and lead is being substituted. Bulgaria has ordered £400,000 worth of steel and lead pennies and half-pennies, and is issuing £60,000 m ten-pence and twenty-pence bank notes. All the new Bulgarian money is being made in Germany.
