j Mr R. G. Wbottor, M.A., Inspector of Schools for Taranaki, has received notice that lie will shortly be transferred to Napier in tiie Hawke’s . Bay Education District.
i Mr J. F. Arnold, Inspector of Factories. who has been stationed at New Plymouth during the past two years, is being promoted and transferred to Christchurch. I Mr H. Williams, manager of the North Egmont Mountain House, was in Stratford to-day. Mr .Williams reports having just concluded an enjoyable trip to Australia. ■ Mr H. Norman Liardct, General Manager of the Ocean Corporation, paid a short visit to Stratford to-day, and left for Wanganui this afternoon. j i j Mr Alex. Matheson, of the Transvaal Education Department, has just been on a visit to Hawera (states the Star)l A good many yeafs ago he was assistant at Hawera School, but he suffered seriously from had health in New Zealand and decided to try South Africa. Sutton, clerk and probationary inspector at Auckland, will be appointed third inspector. The position of second inspector in Wellington, vacated by Mr Slaughter some' time ago, will be Idled by the transfer of Mr R. T. Bailey, second inspector at Christchurch} Mr J. F.
