HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.

'Astriking programme will bo finally presented at His Majesty’s Theatre tonight. The series is headed by the extraordinary picture entitled, “Tim Second Commandment.” As the title would imply, this film is a fascinating subject, full of thrills and strange situations. It is a Kalom production, containing an nbutulauoo of adventure, and it concludes a love idyl! with romantic episodes of an unusual character. The Edison players interestingly depict “Tlie Little Salcs-lady,” a sympathetic story of the shop-girl’s Hie in a large city, whore wages are small and temptations are big. Two fine topical films are included, and the compdics, which are highly diverting, are “Sweeney’s Christmas Bird” and “ibe Quest of the Widow.” To-morrow night a oOtlOft. feature 'will be Screened, entitled “Rupert of Hentzau,” which is the sequel Mm ro “The Prisoner of yscuda.” OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS. On Thursday, June Bth. the new Municipal Buildings will be opened by His Worship the Mayor, assisted by Past Mayors. All past CouncilJprs and Council Officials are invited t fe6jbc present.. Chairs will be arranged Ifqr the public. The function will commence sharp at 7.30 p.m., after which an adjournment nvill bo made to the .spacious rooms, upstairs, where the v Ladies’ Patriotic Committee have arranged a social, the net proceeds of which are to bo divided equally between the Red Cross and Wounded: Soldiers’ Funds.
