STATE MEDICAL SERVICE ADVOCATED. United Phksb Association. Sydney, May 29. Addressing the Balmain labor league, Dr. Stopford suggested the establishment of a state medical service. He said the private practitioner had a pecuniary interest in disease, which inexorably compelled him to welcome sickness and protract the treatment.
