WANGANUI RAGES. I’EU Press association. Wanganui, May 25. The Wanganui Jockey Club’s meeting opened in dull and polcl weather. There is a good attendance. Results: Borough Handicap, of 23050v5., six furlongs.—Depreciation (6.12) 1, Interlude (7.12) 2, Master Achilles (6.12) 3. All started. Won by one length, two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.17 2-5. Hack Steeplechase, of loOsoys, about two miles.— Immensity (10.10) 1, Paramata (10.0) 2, Nita (10.9) 3. All started. Won by two lengths, three lengths between second and third. Time, 4.12 2-5. Wanganui Steeplechase, of 600sovs., about three miles.—Braeburn (10.0) 1. Capt. Mackay (9.10) 2, New York (9.10) 3, Scratched: Nita. Daylight Bill and Hnrakia fell. Won by four lengths, five lengths between second and third. Time, 6.17 1-5.
