NO-CONSCRIPTIONISTS HEAVILY j FINED. ' London, May 17. j Edward Grubb Brockway, the hon. treasurer secretary, and organiser, of 'the No .Conscription Fellowship; Rev. Leyton Richards, John P. Fletcher, and three other members of the committee were summoned at the Mansion House Court for publishing a pamphlet containing statements prejudicial to recruiting and the discipline of the forces. It stated that 750,000 copies were printed. Fletcher and Richards were .formerly secretaries of the Australian Freedom League, opposing compulsory training. Defendants were lined £IOO, with £lO costs.
