The Balkan correspondent of the Times says that Constantinople is threatened with, famine. The majority of Christians are reduced to extreme misery, and traders are compelled to close and forced to give up all their money. Appeals are useless, as Mahommedans' testimony is accepted before that of Christians. Terrorism - is rampant. Almost all foodstuffs are, ticketed.
