A married woman named Jemima Walshe, 42 years of age, "’as found dead this morning in a yard at the rear of the residence of her patents. The first knowledge her parents had of any trouble was when Mrs "Walshe was found dead with her throat cut, and a razor beside her. It is understood that Mrs Walshe formerly resided in Foxton. She leaves a iamily of live children. PAINTER’S FATAL FALL. Dunedin, May 1. Jolm Andrews, a painter, living in Hyde Street, fell 4UH from the turret on the Salvation Army Barracks, this morning, fracturing his Jolt tlugu and injuring ids face. A child named Wilson, aged about three years, whose parents reside at Shag Point, was drowned on Saturday. The child was missed, and on a search being made the body was found floating in the sea, lint when it was brought ashore life was extinct.
