GENERAL SMUTS’ CAMPAIGN. ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS £ United Press 1 London, May 2. General Smuts reports that rains have set in with great violence. The enemy is strongly entrenched in the hills south-east of Kondo Irangi Rangi Lake. It is reported that a small British force moved out at Bushare on April 29 and attacked the enemy, who were strongly entrenched in the vicinity. The enemy were quickly driven off, md the troops returned unmolsted.
