SMUTS’ FURTHER SUCCESS. F United Fbkm Association.! London, April 30. Official: General Smuts’ mounted men captured, in the vicinity of the Koandai Range, 200 slaughter oxen, 80 rifles, a large quantity of munitions, a herd of 600 mixed cattle, 200 donkeys with saddlery, and supplies. CAPTURE OF CONVOYS AND MUNITIONS. The High Commissioner reports:— London, April 30 (4.30 p.m.) In East Africa General Smuts reports that on Saturday his mounted troops captured in the vicinity of Kondoairangi various convoys and munitions, including eighty rifles and a large amount of ammunition.
