Papers found in a raid on the. former offices' of Yon Papen show that prominent irishmen' and Germans in the United States exhibited keen interest in the plans for a revolt in ireland. Whether the Government will undertake an investigation, rests with the Department of Justice. Methods for raising funds for the equipment of the Irish revolutionists were discuss-, ed freely. There were some letters showing that appeals had been made for funds.
