RAID ON THAMES ESTUARY. NO CASUALTIES REPORTED. iUvited Press The High Commissioner reports : London, April 27 (5.50 p.m.) A Zeppelin raid was made on tht> Thames estuary on Tuesday. There were no casualties. THE EAST END RAID. ZEPPELIN TURNS BACK. V. London, April 27. The Zeppelin that was reported on the East Coast did not penetrate inland. The weather was misty, and ic probably turned back. At midnight, it is reported, one bomb dropped into the sea.
4 KILLED : : 12 INJURED. The High Commissioner reports:— London, April 27 (5.50 p.m.) The bombardment of Lowestoft and Yarmouth yesterday morning began at 4.10 and lasted half an hour. Relatively slight 1 damage was done. Four persons were killed and twelve injured. *
