HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. THE SEA WOLF. “The Sea Wolf,” which was presented with the new programme at His Majesty’s Theatre last evening, is perhaps one of the best sea photoplays seen locally. ‘fOih Sea Wolf Is a story of the vigorous unconventional type representing fife in a “windjammber” sailed by as dangerous a savage as ever terroi sod a ! ship’s crew. There are wild deeds on board the Ghost, which becomes a floating hell. One day the look-out sights a drifting boat in which are a few survivors of a shipping disaster. They include a beautiful young woman, and her advent causes further trouble, The crew of the Ghost also desert the ship, which now drifts helplessly ashore on the desert island. Humphrey and his frail companion bravely jury-rig the dismasted vessel and although the now crazed Larsen attempts to kill Humphrey, the hit-j ter manages to navigate the craft to ( sea. The film is 7000 feet in length., While the photography is vivid, the actual scenes on board a sailing vessel lend a realistic touch to the production.
