(Received 8.40 a.m.) London, April 25. Official 1 . —A German cruiser squadron attacked Lowestoft at dawn. Two persons were killed. The damage was slight. Reuter reports: “The enemy were driven off by British cruisers, and ws are chasms them.”
TWENTY MINUTES IN ACTION. IN PURSUIT OF THE ENEMY. BRITISH VESSELS STRUCK. (Received 10.10 a.m.) London, April 25. The Admiralty states that at halfpast four o’clock in the morning, a cruiser squadron, accompanied by light cruisers and destroyers appeared off Lowestoft. The local naval forces engaged it for twenty minutes, when the squadron returned towards Germany chased by light cruisers and destroyers. | A man and woman were killed ; ashore, the material damage being insignificant. ' Two British cruisers and some destroyers were hit but none were sunk.

Several British warships on Monday heavily bombarded Zeebrugge, and the batteries at Heyst, Blankenberglie and the Knocke. The Zeebrugge Harbour locks were hit several times, and some ships were sunk.
