Tlio body of George Pappageorgi, a Greek, was found at tlio roar of his cafe in George Street, with the head smashed. A cleaver lay alongside the body, and :< '<>P© was tightly fastened round the neck. The cash register in the shop had been rilled. THE FAIR RENTS COURT. (Received 10.10 a.m.) Sydney, April S. The superintendent of Labor reports that the Fair Rents Court is not affecting the building trade. The slump is duo to the banks refusing advances to speculative builders.
