HIS MrtiStSTY'S THEATRE. WHEN IT STRIKES HOIVIE. i To-night ut His Majesty’s Theatre an altogether different offering is promised, but one that should be extremely popular. ‘‘When It Strikes Home” is an output of the famous World Film Corporation. It is 5000 ft, in length, and was made from the scenario by Charles K. Harris, who has taken an old problem and dealt, with it in a new manner The old story of the rich man’s son marrying the chorus girl secretly and hastily, and the father’s intervention and success in having the marriage annulled, is the main theme. But the human story breaks new ground—the vow of revenge,by the young wife, who became a mother after the divorce, and how fate or destiny wove a web of chance and mischance around all the characters, makes a story of intense interest and sympathy, with a climax that is as powerful as unexpected. “A Trip up the Clyde,” with views of the building of battleships, "besides some fine Scotch scenery, and a bright comedy are also on the programme.
