EBB AND FLOW OF BATTLE. ITALIANS RECAPTURE POSITIONS. (Received 8.15 a.m.) Rome, March 29. A communique states: There was fierce and desperate lighting for fortyeight hours north-west of Gpnzia. The enemy on the 26th concentrated intense artillery fire on our trenches A Grufenberg, and launched the most silent attacks, to which our centre yielded, but we counter-attacked next evening and recaptured the position after repeated sanguinary charges.
