MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS. LUnited Prem Amoouiiun.j (Received 10.15 a.in.) Sydney, March 28. Twenty thousand replies were received in connection with the war and eighteen thousand refused to enlist. In the Assembly, the Premier (Mr Holman) stated that in view of the present liquor restrictions it would not be necessary to introduce an AntiShouting Bill. (Received 10.15 a.m.) Adelaide, March 28. Six o’clock closing was ushered in with lively scenes, large crowds marching the streets and demanding admittance to the hotels. The police dispersed them. A further proclamation places an absolute embargo on the export of gold.
