POSTAL RATES. Letters and Letter Cards Inland (including Cook Islands), Id for ea.'n ioz. or fraction thereof, and id for succeeding 2oz, Nnited Kingdom, British possessions, United States, Chili, Costa Rica, Egypt. Italy,'. Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Pago Pago, Paraguay, Portugal, and Portuguese Colonies, Siarn. Servia, and Portal Agencies in Chinese Treaty Ports. Id for each oz. or fraction thereof; all other places 2icl for the first oz. or fraction thereof, and lsd for each succeeding oz. or fraction thereof. Post Cards.— lnland, single, sd; reply, Id;.all other places single, Id; reply 2d. Printed Papers (including Books and Magazines, not registered).—All places, id per 2oz. Magazines (registered), inland. id for every Soz. or fraction thereof. Foreign, id per 2oz. or fraction thereof. One end must he left open. TELEPHONES. Cnarges. —At Exchanges continuously open—Business establishments, £7 ; private residences, £5 per annum. Exchanges not continuously open, an equal charge of £5. Telephone Exchanges at Adckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin. Invercargill, Napier, Hastings, Palmerston North, and Wanganui are open all day and all night.
