A DOUBLE WEDDING At the Presbyterian Church, Mav-| ton, on March Ist, a very pretty wed-1 ding was solemnised by the Rev j James Wilson,'of Turakina, when the. Misses Matilda and Margaret Ha no, late of “Clocverdale,” Rata, were married to Messrs Hugh Bennett . Whangamomona, and Arthur Hen wood, “Sea View,” Inglewood, respec-i lively. Miss Matilda Harre was] charmingly attired in white silk crepe, wore a hand-embroidered veil.-and was attended by Miss -Ellen - Harre (sister of the bride), and Miss Catherine Beard.. The bridegroom was supported Ijy Mr W. Harre. brother of the bride Miss Margaret Harre, who was attended by her younger sisters Mabel and eJssie, looked very dainty in cream silk monsseiline, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms. , Mr Andrew Harre acted as best man. The brides were given away by their father. The happy couples left by motor cans for Auckland and Wanganui amidst showers of rice, ami with the best wishes of their many friends. The presents were both costly and numerous.
