MINED OR TORPEDOED? SCRAPS FROM A SURVIVOR. (Received 10.35 a.m.) London, March 16. The Tubantia eft Amsterdam yesterday for Buenos Ayres, with eightythree passengers and 294 of a crew, and a large cargo of mails. I The first message indicated that the position was near Northhinder. | The liner was afloat at 8.30 this morning, but there has been no later report. | The passengers seem to have got clear in two boats. j A survivor reached Northhinder, and it is believed that a Dutch steamer picked up the others.' Plenty of succour was sent, including torpedoers from Flushing.
j It is doubtful whether the liner; was mined or torpedoed, but the captain strongly believes the hitter was the cause.
