General Smuts has reported': We occupied Mossi on Monday, and are pushing on with a vie;v to occupying Arasa, which, it is believed, the Germans have evacuated. The Germans are apparently retiring rapidly southwards, and are finding the Tanga railway of great assistance. The numerous rivers are hindering our pursuit.
