Won by a neck. Time, Imin 26500. On Friday afternoon at a committee meeting of the Wanganui Jockey dub, it was decided to allocate the nett ’profits of the recent meeting to patriotic purposes. The nett profits wore £1043, and it was decided to divide this amount as follows -To th e y.M.C.A. war fund, £500; to furnishing local Returned Soldiers’ Club, £100; to Salvation Army war fund, £IOO. The balance, £343, was allocated to the British Reel Cross Fund.
