CAPTURE OF KRUPP CUNS (Received 8.40 a.m.) Petrograd, March 5. Official details of the action at Bitlis show that our troops attacked the enemy entrenchment in a snowstorm, the final charge taking place at three o'clock in the morning. The Turks were driven out at the point of the bayonet after desperate resistance. Our troops, who had not fired a shot, next attacked the artillery and captured their position. After stubborn hand-to-hand fighting all the defenders were killed, and pursuit of the enemy followed immediately. We have now taken twenty Krupp guns of the latest type and captured the large munitions depot at Bitlis.
