PERSONAL.
Mr and Mrs' T. Lonergan left for Wellington by the mail train this morning. Mr Thomas Buchanan, of Waitara, went into the New Plymouth Hospital on Friday to be operated on for appendicitis. Mr Rathbone, accountant in the Napier branch of the Bank of N.Z., has been appointed manager at Opunake. Mr H. H. Ward, of the teaching staff of the Napier Boys' High School, and formerly of New Plymouth, has been successful in obtaining the B.A. degree. At St. George's Church, Patea, on Thursday last, Mr Cameron Masters, of Dandenong, "Melbourne, was married to Miss EniTTy Ellen (Nellie), second daughter of Mr and Mrs M. Carey, of Patea.
