The Tribuna’s Athens correspondent states that prior to the fall of Erzeroum, tlie commander sent a Turco-Ger-man mission, urgently asking for reinforcements and supplies, and»stating that the Armenians and Kurds had refused to employ guerilla warfare against the Russians, lalaat Enver replied that it was impossible to do more. A stormy scene followed, the German officer belonging to the mission narrowly escaping violence. Turkey categorically refuses to cooperate in the Baghdad campaign unless Germany sends 100,000 men to Constantinople.
